Mission

Global Missions

We are called by Jesus Christ to take our mission into the world, sharing with others the gifts that God has given us.

Interpreting the work of the Presbyterian Church (USA) by making the membership of the Community Presbyterian Church aware of how their mission dollars are being spent, and of mission dollars are being spent, and of mission opportunities in the United States and abroad.

THRIFT SHOP

Maintaining our own Thrift Shop here at the Church is a wonderful part of our ministry.  The Thrift Shop provides a service to Brigantine City as well as surrounding areas by offering quality pre-owned clothing and household goods at very reasonable prices.

The constantly changing inventory in our Thrift Shop makes it a great place to visit time and time again. The Thrift Shop also helps to support our annual budget for the Church.

Do to Covid19, the Thrift Shop is only open for shopping and donations only on Saturday from 8am to noon out in the back lawn of the church. This is weather permitting.

Please do not leave donations at the door of the church.

TRUE SPIRIT COALITION

The “True Spirit Coalition” partners the Community Presbyterian Church with many other caring and generous organizations, businesses, groups, and clubs in Brigantine.  We come together with a common goal of providing meals, household goods, sanitary items, and children’s toys, at scheduled times during the year, to families and individuals in need.

STEWARDSHIP

At Community Presbyterian Church, we believe that stewardship is a vital part of Christian living and worship. We know that often people think stewardship is all about money and we would like to provide a better understanding of the truths about stewardship.
