Dear Friends,

It is my pleasure to welcome you, to our website.  I hope that that you find this site helpful and informative.  I consider our congregation ministers of the Brigantine Community Presbyterian Church.  They have responded to God's call, in Jesus the Christ, to heal the sick, to bind up the broken-hearted, to give release to captives and relief to those who suffer under unbearable burdens. Together, we provide a witness in work and in deed, to a God who loves justice and who wills that we live in peace and harmony with one another. This is the Good News of the gospel.

Community Presbyterian Church is an exciting place to be involved in ministry.  There is a strong sense of belonging here and an intimacy that is becoming rare in American community life.

That intimacy stems from a deep sense of caring that members have for one another and for those whom our ministry touches. We provide opportunities for the community of Brigantine to gather and celebrate as well as programs that serve critical needs in the community.

Our building is in the heart of the City of Brigantine and our individual members and families comprise a great deal of the soul of the Brigantine community. We are setting our sights on a fresh vision for our ministry in Brigantine in the 1990's and into the new millennium.  We invite you to join us on our journey and help us to celebrate the joy of living.

Catch the Spirit,

John R. Scotland, pastor
